Ok, this is going to be a bit of a diary kinda thing about three of my passions: Inline skating, the Lake District... & gorging shamelessly on cakes. I've decided to try to combine the three & introduce the sport of street skating to the gorgeous lanes & byways of Cumbria. Lane skating? Sounds a bit lame doesn't it? Lame skating - that's more like it! Byway blading? No! Hmm, leave it with me.
Possibly this is going to be a short lived venture as I may well be short lived myself after encountering some of the downhills up there...but it should provide a laugh for people & probably scare some sheep senseless...& hopefully & more importantly, many cafe stops for me.
Next: buying a helmet!
